How:This butterfly was the only one of its kind seen on the entire trip. Robert J. Nuelle. III snagged him alongside a road in Mescalero, NM - at Thistle flowers. There was a roadside creek with a patch of thistle flowers 30 feet across and 1 mile long! The best place for butterflies on the entire trip!!!!
