Comments: This is a highly variable Silk Moth occuring throughout the area of SE Arizona. The Western Imperial moth has several named color forms, and the real prize is the Chocolate colored Female (not seen by us). These moths came in great numbers and we could have easily collected several hundred, but we exercised restraint and restricted ourselves to first class specimens only. We will soon post some of the other color forms captured.
