Comments: This is the Big Bend Ranch State Park. We met with the Park Superintendant - Mr. Luiz Almendariz for over an hour and we obtained a limited access permission to collect in the Park, in accordance with our TPWD Scientific Collecting Permit. We were restricted to several areas along the river. We had limited luck due to the prevailing conditions. It has been very dry and the habitat was without a lot of blooming plants. There was a good volume of water in the Rio Grande. We observed a large number of insects - all of which are recorded here.
